Oleg Mityaev


Oleg Mityaev is a Soviet and Russian author-performer, musician and actor. He was born in Chelyabinsk on February 19, 1956. His mother was a housewife, and his father was a worker at a pipe factory. He was not a very good student at school. Only in the eighth grade did he manage to get fours and threes in the certificate.
When a child, Oleg spent a lot of time with domestic dogs and even dreamed that he would be a dog breeder. He tamed them, fed them, built booths, hid them from traps. Mityaev decided to become a fitter and entered the Fitting College in 1971. There he mastered the specialty of electrician. The choice of profession happened quite by chance, it seemed to Oleg that this is the real male work for real life.
At this time, Mityaev seriously became interested in swimming. He joined the army was taken to serve in Moscow. After the service, he decided to enter the Institute of Physical Education. Oleg graduated with a diploma in 1981 He was a participant in all amateur contests. Starting from 1978, the future bard wrote songs, and from 1980 he began not only to write, but also to perform them wherever he was asked. After graduation, Oleg Mityaev worked as a teacher for four years. In in 1985-1986, he worked as a singer in the City Philharmonic. Mityaev began to think about the acting profession and in 1992 he became a graduate of GITIS.
He has carried his love for the bard songs and his native Chelyabinsk through his life. He comes there to give concerts at least once a year, as he cannot live without this city. According to Mityaev, he often dreams about his childhood, his yard. He believes that a person lives in this world to be happy. He comes here to award his annual prize “The Bright Past” to the best citizens of Chelyabinsk.
